Logitech folio touch air 412/11/2023 ![]() ![]() I have been using this the folio case/keyboard on my iPad Pro for almost two years now. When I contacted Logitech they basically had zero interest, and said once it’s beyond the 1yr warranty it’s not their problem to fix anything. Really disappointed that Logitech don’t stay on top of this and keep updating the firmware to make the products work. Prior to this I was a big fan of Logitech but am now wary of spending money on products that you realize that can be turned into a useless brick by a software update. I have wasted so much time reloading and installing this over and over again. Have been waiting a long time for Logitech to fix this, and this says it addresses it, but the firmware update does not actually work, it says it has completed but the firmware is not updated. Previously I loved the Logitech keyboard but after an IOS update certain keys stopped working. Have been waiting a long time for an update, which is specifically mentioned in this app description (fixing an issue with the slim combo keyboard for iPad Pro 12.9). Very frustrating that this app to update firmware does not actually work. These feature enhancements and bug fixes will help bring you a seamless experience so you can work at your highest level. The Magic Keyboard’s flat underside rests comfortably against your legs, while a crease in the folio allows you to tilt the screen forward and back to suit your needs.FIRMWARE UPDATE APP FOR iPAD KEYBOARD CASES WITH SMART CONNECTOR OR BLUETOOTH I prefer Apple’s approach, which eschews the kickstand entirely. Even once you stabilize everything, the screen sits upright at an awkward angle. I alluded to this early on, but it doesn’t feel like the Folio Touch was designed to be used in one’s lap - the skinny kickstand felt a little precarious balanced on my legs, and it’s quite top heavy. For those of us who don’t own the Crayon, it’s easy enough to tuck the loop back into itself so that it’s not obscuring the screen while you’re typing. That strip of material can also unfurl to turn into a magnetic closure when the folio is shut like a book. With any other Smart Connector accessory, you’d just pull and the tablet would snap off from the three magnetic pins.Īround back there’s a somewhat adjustable kickstand, and on top you’ll notice a loop that can fit Logitech’s optional Crayon accessory (an alternative to the Pencil). The main downside is that the rubber enclosure is trickier to slip on and off. Somehow, despite the heavy-duty rubber, this thicker case doesn’t feel that much heavier than Apple’s offering. ![]()
